Pulse ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our subscription recovery platform at pulsechurn.com.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company name, and website when you create an account. We also collect payment processor data when you connect your Stripe, Paystack, or Flutterwave account, including failed payment events, customer emails, transaction amounts, and decline codes. We collect usage data about how you interact with the Pulse dashboard, and technical data including IP addresses, browser type, and device information.
When Pulse processes failed payments on your behalf, we access your customers' email addresses, payment amounts, and usage behavior tracked via our optional tracking snippet. This data is processed solely to provide the recovery service to you. We act as a data processor on your behalf — you remain the data controller for your customers' data. We never sell, share, or use your customers' data for any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
We use collected information to provide and improve the Service, send AI-generated recovery emails on your behalf, analyze recovery performance and generate metrics, communicate with you about your account and the Service, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data or your customers' data for advertising purposes.
All data is stored securely using Supabase, a PostgreSQL-based platform with industry-standard encryption. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS. We implement row-level security to ensure organizations can only access their own data. API keys and sensitive credentials are stored with encryption. We conduct regular security reviews and follow security best practices.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Payment event data and recovery logs are retained for 24 months to provide historical analytics. When you delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Pulse uses the following third-party services to operate. Supabase for database and authentication. Anthropic Claude API for generating recovery email content. Resend for email delivery. Paddle for payment processing. Stripe, Paystack, and Flutterwave for payment processor integrations. Vercel for hosting. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
Pulse uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the functionality of the Service.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, export your data in a portable format, and withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@pulsechurn.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Pulse is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Pulse is operated from Nigeria and uses services hosted in various regions. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at support@pulsechurn.com. We take privacy seriously and will respond to all inquiries within 48 hours.
